Tainan and Suao in 17 hours
When I was in the Navy, once, I went to Tainan and back Suao in 17 hours.I was a voluntary sergant for about 3 years and 8 months.One day, my ex-girl friend asked me to attend her graduation ceremony in Chia-nan University of Pharmacy and Science.I was so glad because it was a holiday and my vessel would stay at our base, Tzoying harbor in Kaohsiung.I gave her my reply immediately, and expected the big day.Unfortunately, we accepted a new mission and had to sailed to Suao before the ceremony.I told her that I couldn't attend because the distance between Tainan and Suao was too far.I could imagine how disappointed she would be without my attendance.
The last night before the big day, I decided to fulfill her wish.It was a big plan, and whatever I did, 10p.m. was the deadline to go back the vessel, or my officers would find my escape and punish me.Every step needed be concerned, and I schemed very carefully, especially the time and the transportion.But I didn't tell her, because I wanted give her a surprise.
I had to take the earlist train at 6:10 a.m. to Taipei, so I escaped my vessel at 5:30.The sky started to get bright, I crept along the anchor line to the ground.I ensured nobody found my action.After two hours, I arrived in Taipei, and went to the airport directly.Plane was the only choice to save my time, it only cost 50 mimutes from Taipei to Tainan.The ground view was so beautiful, I never forgot it and the day, especially I was doing a great thing for my girl friend.
She was so surprised and cried in my bosom when I appeared. It was an unforgettable monent and feeling.During the ceremony, she wore the gown and seemed so proud.After ceremony, we had a lunch with her classmates.All of them were also surprised about my appearance.I told them that if you thought a thing was worthwhile, did it for the priceless monent.I stayed in Tainan only 6 hours.I went back Suao at 9:30, but someone found I was escaped.
