self introduction--Alen Chen

My name is Alen, I was born in Tainan. I am 29 years old this year.There are five people in my family, father, mother, me and two little brothers.My parents supported and encouraged us a lot during our childhood.I graduated from Chia-nan University of Pharmacy and Science.It was about eight years ago.My major is Food Health, but English is my favorite subject in the school.I not only like learning English in the class but also like talking to foreigners.I liked to play baseball during my shool time.I also like to watch baseball game.My favorite baseball player is Nolan Ryan. He was a great pitcher and made over 5000 strike outs and also hold the record in the Major League.He always practiced to advance and had a positive attitude in his baseball career.He influences me even if he's retired now.After my education, I joined the Navy.It was a special experience for me and I won't forget it.

Now I'm a quality control staff in the beverage unit in the Uni-president enterprise. We have to test of the flavour for its quality, so we drink a lot of tea during worktime.Our unit manager (we call him chief) is a kind man.He teaches us throughout duties of jobs and life career.We all respect him.He's like our father.My best friend in the company is Mike Chang.He likes sports and we also talk about baseball.

Some of my friends had obtained the bechelor's degree from university, and they encourage me to attend this school.It's fortunate I can attend STUT because it's a famous school in Tainan.But it's tiring to work at daytime and study in the evening.I need to follow different kinds of subjects and their assignments, too.Maybe it's diffcult, but I won't give up.
